I applaud the incredible styling of Cristiane Arp, the amazing work of
photographer Alexi Lubromirski and the accomplishment of model Julie Stegner
in genuinely portraying the art of the dance of Flamenco.

Yards and yards of billowing silk in this astonishing skirt. *sigh*
Notice how the straps of those magnificent purple shoes mimic the seaming in the
dress.
I would love to touch this blouse of multi-colored rosettes. Such yummy texture.
The black and red check fabric of this dress has a wonderful flow to it. I would
be curious to know if the model, Julia Stegner is also a dancer. She certainly has
the posture of one and has mastered wonderfully the stance of Flamcnco.
I love black and white stripes!! They are so dramatic.
The most gorgeous strapless dress of crimson feathers with an
underskirt of white ruffled tulle. This gown is a work of art.
I am loving how the roses in the dress fabric are duplicated in the tights. Perfect!
Flamenco dancers could never, ever, ever use botox... the dance requires the angst
of the furrowed brow.
Here is a close-up of the bodice of this beautiful red gown. The hand sewn ruching
and bustle like bowing in in the back are exqusite!
Traditional Spanish Mantilla
So simple yet so busy.
I find the stunning petals of pleated drapery - unexpectedly graceful
